HOUSE RULES

The guest house is not a place freely open to the public. It is a family welcoming you into their home. There may also be other travelers under the same roof. Therefore, we invite you to enjoy all the living spaces available to you in a spirit of conviviality and respect for everyone’s privacy.

In the same spirit, we ask that you not be intoxicated on our premises. We reserve the right to shorten your stay if this rule is not respected, and you will be charged for the full duration.
For the comfort and tranquility of all, we regret that we cannot accommodate pets within the “Au Cœur du Village” house or in the rooms.

ARRIVALS

To ensure we can welcome you in the best possible conditions, check-in will be from 5 PM on your arrival day until 9 PM. Late or early arrivals must be arranged in advance.

DEPARTURES

On the last day, departures are by 10 AM. We are not hotel professionals; we need sufficient time to prepare the accommodation to be as welcoming as possible for subsequent guests.

BREAKFAST

Breakfast is served between 8:00 AM and 10 AM.

THE ROOMS

The rooms are not intended for laundry, meals, jumping on beds, or cleaning shoes with the bedding. A flat-screen smart TV with TNT (digital terrestrial television) is available to guests in each room; the volume must be kept moderate.

Guests can also access free Wi-Fi. Illegal downloading is prohibited.

While it is customary for guests to tidy up bedding, belongings, and clothes, significant stains will be charged to the client.

Valuables (jewelry, multimedia devices, various payment methods, etc.) should not be left in the rooms or in parked vehicles, as the hosts decline all responsibility in case of their disappearance.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

In compliance with Decree No. 2006-1386 of November 15, 2006, smoking is prohibited in public areas. The entire establishment, including rooms, is therefore non-smoking. For the protection of minors, the sale of alcohol to individuals under 18 years of age is prohibited.

We kindly ask our guests to maintain a decent attire at all times and to be dressed and wearing shoes when moving through common areas.

The client undertakes to return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of the stay and to declare, and financially assume responsibility for, any damage for which they may be liable.
Children on the property are under the sole responsibility of their parents and must also respect these rules.

The kitchen is not freely available for guests’ use.

MISCELLANEOUS

Visits from external persons are tolerated but must be reported and limited in time and space to ensure everyone’s tranquility. Our facilities are exclusively available to our guests.

PETS

Pets are not allowed. In case of non-compliance with this clause, “Au Cœur du Village” will refuse pets. This refusal cannot under any circumstances be considered a modification or cancellation of a reservation, so no refund can be considered.

RESERVATION AND DURATION OF STAY

The reservation becomes effective once the client has sent the owner a deposit of 50% of the total price of the stay.

If the reservation is for only one night, it becomes effective once the client has sent the owner 100%, or the full payment, for the stay.

The dated and signed rental agreement must be returned to the owner as soon as possible.

Under no circumstances may the client claim any right to remain on the premises beyond the stay reserved and granted by the owner.

CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT

Any modification is only possible with the agreement of “Au Cœur Du Village” and may incur additional charges.

We inform you that in case of cancellation of the reservation before the start of the stay, a penalty fee will be due from the client, determined as follows:

If the cancellation occurs more than 15 days before the arrival date, the deposit will be fully refunded.
If the cancellation occurs less than 14 days before the arrival date, the full payment will be retained by “Au Cœur Du Village”, unless we manage to re-rent the room(s).

In case of early departure during the stay, the full amount for the reserved service will be charged.

We draw your attention to the fact that no cancellation insurance is included in our rates. It is therefore strongly recommended that you subscribe to one.

CANCELLATION BY THE OWNER

In case of cancellation by the owner before the start of the stay, the client will be informed as soon as possible by email or registered letter. The client, without prejudice to any claims for damages possibly incurred, will be refunded the amounts paid within a maximum of one week.

HOUSEKEEPING

We count on your cooperation to:

Avoid leaving lights on unnecessarily,
Do not let water run and moderate the flow during showers,

We kindly ask you to only flush toilet paper down the toilet, as other waste has a designated bin for this purpose,

We kindly ask you to use the specific towels provided for the jacuzzi.

KEYS

In case of loss of keys or remote controls, a flat fee will be charged to you.

WELLNESS AREA

We provide you with this quality private relaxation area. Its use requires strict rules regarding respect for the premises, hygiene, and safety, which may lead to immediate and unannounced access prohibition (no refund will be issued in such a case).

Management reserves the right to close the relaxation area in case of force majeure, such as:

Poor bacteriological water quality
Closure for maintenance
Non-compliance with hygiene and safety instructions

GENERAL OPERATING RULES

The wellness area is open from 9:30 AM to 8 PM.

The maximum capacity is 5 people per one-hour slot. This capacity must not be exceeded. Users must hold civil liability insurance.

Access costs 30 euros per person for residents, 50 euros per person for external guests, for one hour.

Access is by reservation only, subject to availability and for the following slots: 9:30 AM, 11 AM, 12:30 PM, 2 PM, 3:30 PM, 5 PM, 6:30 PM, 8 PM.

Access is prohibited for children under 18 years old unless accompanied by an adult. Babies must wear a special swimming diaper.

A complete kit including flip-flops, a towel, and a bathrobe will be provided to you. Please do not use the bathroom towels from the rooms. It is forbidden to enter the spa with your street shoes.

After your session, please return the equipment to your room. Upon your departure, please return these items to management (lost bathrobe 30 euros, lost towel 15 euros).

Food and drinks other than water are prohibited in the wellness area.

In case of damage to equipment due to inappropriate use of facilities or non-compliance with the rules, repair and/or restoration costs will be borne by the users.

It is not recommended to swim with any valuables. We decline all responsibility for physical or material damage, loss, theft, and alteration. Prohibited items include: cigarettes, e-cigarettes, chewing gum, food, drinks, radios, mobile phones, cameras, camcorders, and other electrical devices.
